Recently, an opaque Japanese economy and cost-effective situation of strong yen have stimulated Japanese companies to expand to the overseas. On the other hand, although aging population and lower birthrate are progressing, GDP of Japan is still located in the third place behind that of United States and China. It means the Japanese market is still attractive to the world. Regarding the issues of accounting and tax to be arising from the expansion to the overseas or Japan, you might think of receiving the support from a tax advisor or an auditing firm. |

But in reality, there can be a situation that the tax advisor says "for accounting issues, please consult with the auditing firm," and auditing firm says "for the handling of tax, please consult with the tax advisor".
Through long working experience in auditing firms and accounting firms, I have seen many Japanese companies that unexpectedly faced wuth the problem of accounting and tax.
Furthermore, I have experienced the issues of foreign companies that advanced to the Japanese market as well.
The department I belonged to was highly specialized in supporting of SMEs and venture companies, and I have gained many experiences. Through those experiences, luckily, I was allowed to contribute to the realizations of IPO.
In addition, while I experienced the problems of accounting and taxation at the base in North America, South America, Europe and South Korea, in working with a company that operates globally, I also loaded the experience of giving accounting and tax advisory services to the Japanese subsidiary of the foreign company.
Through these experiences, I got lots of opportunities to meet with managers having a clear goal. In addition, through the serious discussions with them for solving problems, I felt the job was rewarding. I think in this era, I found my "heart" and polished it.
I was allowed to contribute SMEs and venture companies, and that was my dream job. With each passing day, however, I started to feel strong dilemma.
There was a thing called "barrier of organization" there.
For organizations, what I was trying to do for customers is not necessarily welcome for several reasons such as rules, risks and precedents.
As embracing such dilemma, I have decided to leave.
In order to achieve the social goal of self that "support business growth and business continuity of SMEs and venture companies", I separated.
After the independence, I have been working for venture companies and managers as a management advisor, especially in accounting terms.
Through the long working experience in audit firms and accounting firms, I have seen many Japanese companies that unexpectedly faced with the problem of accounting and tax.
Furthermore, I have experienced the issues of foreign companies that advance to Japanese market as well.
On the basis of those experiences, I would like to become a good partner of you, who think of advancing to the overseas or entering into the Japanese market.
